There are many nice video player i prefer VLC have many plugins.
VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols.
Some tricks that can be usefull.Saved last position or use it as radio payer with different skins and more.

Save last position ,especially for the video lovers like me i watch alot and i forget where i stopped so saving the last position is if not very important at least handy.

Interface>Control Interface [Save restore position of the last position]
